The core of the exhibition is a research station, which has been curated by Joanna Szlauderbach. This is a walk-through room installation in the form of a rocket, which was constructed by the Labor Fou artist collective. Alternating groups of artists will be living and working in the rocket within the framework of artist-in-residence programmes. Together with local activists and the visitors, they will be realising utopias and creating alternative resources to help shape a new world.
Den Kern der Ausstellung bildet eine von Joanna Szlauderbach kuratierte Forschungsstation, eine begehbare Rauminstallation in Raketenform, die das Künstlerkollektiv Labor Fou konstruiert hat. In der Rakete leben und arbeiten abwechselnd Künstlergruppen im Rahmen von Artist-in-Residence-Programmen. Gemeinsam mit lokalen Akteuren und den Besuchern verwirklichen sie Utopien und kreieren alternative Hilfsmittel zur Gestaltung einer neuen Welt.
