The UrbanCampsite Amsterdam is an open air exhibition where mobile art meets architecture. What makes the exhibition special is the fact that you can sleep inside the artworks, so you are about to book not only a bed but mostly an unique experience at a very special spot! Every edition of the UrbanCampsite is about one specific, actual & social theme. We chose the theme based on strongly connecting with the environment that we are building the campsite on. This years environment is the Science Park.
The ‘Fou Scope’, by Labour Fou is decsribed as follows: “Who has never dreamt of living in a telescope and seeing a camp from viewpoints usually elusive to human beings?
„Fou scope“ makes this dream real: a temporary research hub, which allows inhabitants to examine the neighbourhood, almost touching the sky through mirrors topping the bowl.”
